Degaussing
With our degaussing service, we run the storage media through extremely strong magnetic fields. This method is suitable for Hard Disks as they rely on magnetism for storing data. This process will render the Hard Disks unusable afterwards, thus removing any data stored on it.
Erasure
With our erasure service, we utilize special software to secure erase the unwanted data. When data is deleted normally on a Windows Operating System, it does not actually get "deleted". The space that the data used to occupy will be marked as empty, allowing the space to be used for other data.
However, if the space has not been used up, the "deleted" data may still be recovered using specialized software. Our secure erasure software will overwrite the space that the unwanted data has occupied with bits multiple times, thus ensuring that it will not be recoverable.
Destruction
With our destruction service, we physically destroy the storage media with shredding machines. We shred all the media and ensure that no individual piece is larger than 25x25MM after the process is complete. This ensures that no one will be able to recover any information from the media as it is now rendered unusable.
Disposal
With our disposal service, we dispose of all the scrap metal that is created from the destruction process. We smelt the metal and sell it to vendors for it to be recycled. This way, you do not have to carry crates full of scrap metal back with you after utilizing our other services.
